Payment Ops Specialist

Aeropay is a Chicago-based financial technology company that serves businesses of all shapes and sizes. We are looking for a Payment Ops Specialist to join our growing team!

This is a full-time, Chicago-based position.

Summary

The Payment Ops Specialist will support and monitor Aeropay’s network to maintain transaction performance and minimize risk along with the Aeropay Payment Operations Team.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for day-to-day monitoring of activity on the Aeropay network.
• Process requests and early warning alerts to drive healthy transactions and control risk management.
• Collaborate with Aeropay’s development team to build-out critical tools, automate routine work where possible, and address longer-term or recurring issues.
• Take ownership of payments issues from beginning to end, working with external partners to troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.
• Support the broader Aeropay team effort when called upon to do so.
• Maintain productive contacts with Aeropay's company officers, directors, and managers.
• Performs other related duties to benefit the mission of the organization.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in related field is required.
• At least two (2) years of experience in related field.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
